Hi, I sure do! In fact this is my main symptom. I have had it every single day for two years now. It is miserable isn't it? I had my diagnostic lap 20th june and they diagnosed stage 4 Endo. Do you struggle to turn over in bed too? I wake so often at night because of it. I am the same as you hobbling around like an old woman. I take max tramadol, paracetamol and mefanemic acid every day far from my ideal but could not function otherwise, it's bad enough whilst taking it x
Hiya thank you so much for replying! I struggle to turn over and to sleep on that side. Ive just been put on the pill to see if that eases symptoms whilst i wait for my refferal to specialist endo centre. Ive tried codiene, co-codomal, ibruprofen, paracetemol. But the first two make me vomit and due to IBS i get terrible tummy cramps along with my book full of symptoms! Although i dont want yo hear your pain its comforting to know im not alone. I just wasnt sure if it was to do with endo or something else entirely xx
I know exactly what you mean. Have you looked at Lindles post about Endo on the uterosacral ligament? Your symptoms sound very like mine. I recommend you have a look if you haven't already. After reading it that is when I felt sure I was not going nuts!! Have you tried buscopan? You probably have having IBS. Hope you get some relief with the pill x
that's me bang on!! Left pelvic/hip area os the main area. It feels like dragging and I find myself kind of waddling. I take tapentadol, I stopped paracetamol cos it didn't help and I just thought id give my liver a break. Can you take mefenemic when you're not bleeding, cos I was told to take it when I'm bleeding? I'm not bleeding now but my pains been really bad and tapentadol isn't enough alone x
Hiya thanks for replying. Yes a dragging feeling and sometimes i feel like my hip and leg is locked through pain. Its almost like sciatica. I have researched this and it can cause problems to the sciatic nerve! Xx
yes that's it like something catching sometimes it almost feels numb but not cos it hurts 😒. With regards to the meds making you sick, maybe you could try them in conjunction with something like omneprazole which deals with acid and could help you tolerate the tablets. X
Thanks hun but i do take pantoprazole. Tbh im very weak when it comes to tablets. Painkillers or antibiotics. My tummy is not a strong one! Oh i dont have numbness you poor thing! Xx
Hi, please see my reply above I posted...just wondering if we are suffering with the same thing as I initially had the locking feeling when my back pain first came on 6 weeks ago. I couldnt stand or sit and now the pain goes all down my leg and bum.
oh and last few days ive been drinking raspberry leaf tea! This gives me very very short term relief, as in whilst i drink it it takes the edge off of any cramping feeling, it doesnt last but five minutes with a bit less pain is still worth it i think xx
Yep this is me too, I woke up today feeling like somebody had hit me in my legs, they feel so tired like im dragging them about and in my hips and bum it's horrible 👊👊😁😁
Hi, i havent been online in ages but still have all my old issues of endo, hemiplegic migraines, bladder pains constant utis, ibs and constipation all ive been getting since i was 16 im now 25. Strangely I now have what has recently been diadgnoaed as left sided sacroiliac disease which i believe is an issue with the joints radiating down my sciatic nerve all in my buttock and leg. Ive also been taking tramadol and other strong painkillers and am seeing a spinal doctor in brentwood essex. I have had a steroid injection in my leg so far but no help and am due to have one in my lower back next week. Do You think its all linked??
I've recently started getting shooting pains in the front of my thigh (right side only) and went to the GP who prescribed painkillers and a weeks worth of diazepam (to reduce the inflammation apparently) neither of which had any real effect. She advised me to go to a chiropractor which I have, spending a fortune on sessions. This has bought some relief but I'm still experiencing the pains intermittently. It's excruciating and really gets me down. Having read up more about it I know think there's a clear link between my endo and this symptom.
