Next period after having a laparoscopy

I am due to have my period following on from having laser laparoscopy and being diagnosed with endometriosis, I was just wondering what to expect.

I find that my first period after a lap is a tad more sorer then it normally is.

I had a half day where I couldn't walk for a bizarre stabbing pain but it stopped quickly.

I had my lap two weeks ago and came on yesterday, its more painful than usual but this was to be expected. The worse part is that they advise not to use tampax on the first one after lap, as they could cause infection. (Hate using pads) Good luck xx

I am the same as you I hate using pads even at night! So thank you for telling me that I would of used them. Xx
