Intercourse 2 months post lap

Just a little update for anyone searching painful sex in the future. Its 2 days shy of 2 months since my laparoscopy and cystoscopy and we had intercourse attempt no 3 last night. It definitely was less painful than last time when access wasnt possible and entry was achieve if very cautiously. It was though still pretty uncomfortable in the same frontal lower area. I didn't get the searing hot pain like last time thank heavens and like the speculum exam caused. When I woke up this morning I still had the specific pain but it's faded and is turning to a faint tummy ache.

I feel more hopeful that it may settle and its still another whole month to the 12 week internal healing period is up. But dyspareunia is still worse than before the op. Weirdly I don't seem to be getting the rear deep endo pain that I used to , but perhaps it is just being blotted out by the newer bigger pain. Still no idea if the cause was the mirena or the after effect of surgery though....
