Copper.. The bloke from NHS phoned me and said it's pretty standard and gross after such an operation.. I was so close to asking him if he had a vagina to be able to relate but thought better of it hehe
I thought I was just having a cyst removed and adhesions from my cesareans, and after having problems with my blood pressure decided to have the copper coil.
It was only during my lap that they found I had endometriosis, which they removed, I was so out of it I barely remember much of what they said.
I've still got 6 months worth of the pill and I'm considering taking it, I'm assuming when I go for my follow up at the end of May they'll offer me the mirena or the pill, I just feel like it's been one thing after another, my stitches still haven't dissolved and I'm still absolutely exhausted, just want to be back to my old self again haha
Oh I see.
I completely understand, it's so hard to cope with. I was lucky post lap because I was given Prostap so I didn't have a post lap period for 4 months.
I had this trouble after mine I had the mirena fitted (worse thing I've ever agreed to) and my first couple of periods were awful and went on for 10-12 days and I was spotting inbetween but it did sort itself out, the pain was as bad as it before and I really was doubting if it had worked after 6 months I had mirena taken out and went on the pill best thing I ever did it all calmed down and my cycles were exactly 28 days still really really heavy not really as bad as before. I now have a endometrial cyst so get a lot of pain and clotting but I had my op nearly 2 years ago and all this has happened in the last 8 months or so you might be ok just give it time
