Hi kayjayne I had exactly the same and would sit fretting about it went to gp he said everything was fine id probably just overstretched my skin a little causing the wound to bleed im now 6 weeks post op today and everything has healed up lovely. If ur still worried id suggest just popping to your gp and get a nurse to check your wound for you x

I had bleeding from mine for quite a lot of weeks after, mostly when doing something active. I would say it only really dried out completely when I had a week lying in the Spanish sunshine two months later! Think it's pretty normal that it can take a while just due to where the wound is. Good luck and hope the treatment has helped you!

Hi Kayjayne. I would give your doctors a call and ask their advice because you wouldnt want it to get worse and infected Hun. Take care. Julie xx

Hi I took about 6-7 weeks to heal from my first lap and about 3-4 weeks from my second. And had the same as you during the first one (but had more surgery done on the second - where I healed faster). So many things can factor the healing process, but Id give hospital / Drs a buzz to put your mind at ease - and know it's an invasive thing really - so understandable the body takes time to heal.

Wish you wellness & a speedy full recovery - and I hope all is natural - as it kinda sounds like it - but better to be safe x
