No Period?

Hey.

So just looking for some advice, had my lap three weeks ago.

It's now been 5 weeks since my last period, it's not usually this late.

Has anyone else had a late period since having a lap?

Don't have any period pain just ovary type pain.

Really doubt I'm pregnant, but too scared to do a test.

Mine took 3 months to return. Enjoy your period free existence! It will give your body a break from oestrogen. Be aware that your first post op period might be heavy but this is not always the case.

Hi Jade

My first period post lap was a week late and really heavy. I am now waiting in hopeful anticipation for my next one which should be my first normal period and will give me an idea of whether the surgery worked.

Hey. Ahh no, they said that could happen though didn't they. I would rather it just arrived then taunted me!

I think it's day 37 of my cycle now and nothing!

Hopefully our next cycles will run smoothly x

My period was due the day I had my last lap in August but arrived 2 days later I then skipped September but they returned in October and no different to my usual pain either as I know a lot of people have a hellish period after a lap but not me. The pain over the ovary area could be from the surgery or you could ovulating surgery does strange things to us.

My period ending up coming on Thursday. It's been worse than normal but luckily not too horrific.
