Just wondering if I should be worried I had my first lap 4 weeks ago to remove my appendix in what they thought it was.... but found out it was a burst cyst instead of my appendix. On that day I went into hospital 4 weeks ago I got my period So I had my period during my lap. Anyway since then I haven't had my period again yet? Is this concerning?

hi. The surgery, drugs and endometriosis its self can all contribute to delaying your period and change its length and flow. Rule out pregnancy by taking a test for your own peace of mind. I had a bleeding cyst in march and my period was 25 days late but came bang on time this month!
My normally regular periods stopped for three months in the lead up to a burst ovarian cyst. I assume the two were linked. You might want to speak to your G.P. to check that this is normal with cysts. Good luck. x
I went to the G.P when it stopped and they told me they don't investigate missing periods unless they've stopped for six months. If they'd investigated the stopped periods at the time, it would have spared me a lot of pain because a scan would've picked up the cyst. x
When my cyst bursted 4 weeks ago I had bleeding in which happened to be my period I guess. So when I had my lap surgery I was on my period too, but since then I haven't had another period
