Hi, I was just wondering if anybody else has recurring water infections with endo? I've just spent another few days in hospital cos of them and I'm on 2 weeks of antibiocs but as soon as I finished them I feel like the infection is back!
Is this just another problem with endo?
Thanks xx

Have you had investigations for endo on or in your bladder? Endo on or in the bladder will give you very similar symptoms to a UTI.... I have read other posts on here from women who had recurring problems with UTIs. If you do a search you should be able to find them to see what was discussed
Hi I suffered every month a week before periods and first few days into period. It was that bad I even seen urology who done a cystocopy which was fine obviously. Once I started zoladex injections I haven't suffered anymore.
You sound like you are having a very rough time of it, I hope you are starting to feel better.
I have had problems with suspected UTI's for the last 10 years, the symptoms of the worst one lasted 9 months. I was also treated for superficial endo 2 years ago, though none was observed on the outside of my bladder, and I have not linked the two for this reason. I have never really been convinced these are real 'UTI's as even though I get urgency and burning my cultures nearly always come back negative and antibiotics don't seem to help much. Right now (!) I'm on my 4th day of Trimethoprim and it has done nothing.
No health care professional can explain it, and to be honest they don't seem much interested. Years ago a urologist just discharged with me stronger antibiotics, and more recently I had a second lap surgery for infertility and they neglected to tell me I have a prolapsed bladder (I'm only 30 and never had kids so how did that happen?!), despite me telling every doctor I meet I think there is a problem with my bladder.
I find drinking lots of water helps as if I get dehydrated that brings on the burning. Also potassium citrate (the stuff they sell in Boots to help with the burning) brings some relief.
I feel so sorry for you. I had loads of recurring bladder infection, I was on numerous antibiotics and pain killers and nothing worked for me. I was in so much pain, I thought I was going crazy.
It turned out that I had Endo imbedded inside my bladder and on top of my bladder that kept causing the bladder infection.
Since having the Endo removed my bladder infections and bladder pains are almost nil.
If you need to ask or talk about anything I'm here for you.
Aww thanks ladies, I feel like screaming today, I tried to get appointment at doctors to get antibiotics but I couldn't all they said was drop in a water sample and then I have to wait 5 days for results, I ended up in hospital last time that happened 😭😭 xxx
I always wondered if this is in relation go endo as I feel I am constantly suffering with one and the UTI pain just mingles in with endo pain. Hoping to find out more with my next lap fingers crossed.
