INFECTION AFTER INFECTION :(

Hi Ladies

I am hoping for some advice. I'm waiting my first lap, diagnosed via ultrasound in December with a chocolate cyst and the left ovary showing bent :/

Since August i have had infection after infection. As 1 lot of antibiotics finish the next 1s start. They counteract with my pill which has made me have period after period also. I have had tooth infection, ear infection uti's and now a respiratory infection. I'm aware of the auto immune with endo but feel like i am going to have no immune left. I take b12 & pro biotics, eat plenty of fruit & veg and drink lots of water. I am not a smoker as i gave up 6 months ago. Any advice? X

Hello,

Last couple of years I was the same, just poorly all the time and so run down. I felt ancient. I took womens supplements and tried to eat better. I've not long had a total excision and touch wood I haven't felt poorly since, still tired though. So maybe getting proper treatment will help?

Can you speak to your GP? Try and listen to your body and rest when you need to,

Good luck,

Louise

Hi, you should add 2000mg of vitamin C supplement a day and continue with the probiotics and everything else you are taking.

For us endo ladies, supplementation is really important. Hope it gets sorted soo. Xx

I also think that we cannot do without supplementation. With endo some mechanisms responsible for detoxification are flawed, hence low immunity.

You might want to try zinc (50mg) for those persistent infections, a quality multivitamin (Thorn Research's preferably) and l-glutamin (6g up daily) for at least a two month period.

I've been curing myself ever since I was told I had endo, otherwise I would have spent half of my life at the doctors. good luck x

Thank you I will try the zinc. I have been fighting the infection alone with no antibiotics in order to build the immune. Its not as bad as it was. Plenty of hot drinks (camomile tea) is helping. Omega 3 is next on the vitamin list as I cant eat fish x
