Nearly operation day!!!

Hi Ladies. It's nearly the operation day. Only 4 days..super scared. Preop went fine but went through all the scary details. Sugary is 3 hours minimum. I'm really really scared....

Me too, every single time I have a surgery. It's usually the prep that gets me. That stupid cleanse your bowels prep. Then the day of the surgery, I am sick and miserable and tell everyone I changed my mind. They never listen to me.

I'd be lying saying there isn't a reason to be scared. Surgery is a terrifying thing. But it is so lovely when it's all over. I have had many surgeries for many things, so I have plenty of pre-surgery fussing. I wish you lots of luck.

Hi I'm just recovering from my 3rd Lap at the moment, there is no need to be scared you'll be in the best possible hands. I'd be lying if I said I didn't get nervous I do everytime but I think thats very normal and everyone going in for surgery would be! I always just tell the nurses then the surgeons and then the guys that put you to sleep that I'm feeling very nervous and they always make a super effort to calm you down just by chatting away and relaxing you! I think my last one was 4hrs long so 3hrs min sounds about right. Try you hardest not to panic too much just think of the possible pain free days when you're fully recovered! Best of luckx

I'm going in for my 4th lap next week this time to remove the endo that's found. It's normal to feel scared make sure you tell the nurses on the day how you are feeling.

Thank you for your replies. I'm having a D&C, Hysterscopy, Colposcopy and Treatment, Ventrosuspension and removal of endo xx
