Good luck lovely. I can totally empathise with what you are going through. It really is hell but i am assured that there is better quality of life on the other side. You’ve got this. Stay strong and we will all be here when you start your journey to a better life and full recovery ❤️xxx
Wishing you all the best for this, will pray for everything to go well for you. Focus on the fact it will be over soon and then you can start to get better leaving endo behind. Thinking of you, lots of love & hugs - you can do it xxx
Morning guys just a quick update I didnt end up with a colospeny bag thank God that was my worst fear but I prayed and prayed someone must of been listening xxxxxxx
Really happy to hear this, I went through the same expecting my ‘bag for life’ and thankfully avoided it. Get well and take care in recovery, time for tlc xxx
Morning Lou, oh that’s fantastic news. I was told the same when I have some bowel removed back in January and woke up fully expecting one but thankfully didn’t. You are through the otherside now chick which is amazing news. How are you feeling? Sending you all the best for a speedy recovery just take some time to relax x
Feeling really groggy and sore the had to remove my appendix also as it was swollen and attached to my right tube I'm just so happy they managed to free the bowel without using colospeny bag xxxxxxx
Hi So pleased that you didn't wake up with a bag! Take your time healing, I found after the catheter was removed (I had it for a week) it got so much easier.
Don't try to do too much too soon, after the first 2 weeks it gets easier.
If you have stairs at home have to limit the trips up and down, so a small bag with your essential bits helps people to move things until you can. Don't lift anything that can't be done with one hand- really frustrating when trying to sort hospital bag out, especially with tubes!
I shuffled for a week or so, 3 weeks later can walk for 10-20 minutes depending on how I feel and lifting a light kettle is fine, still really careful with lifting and bend at knees rather than waist if you drop anything (or leave it!).
Hi missytx yes I'm home feeling good still sore and swollen but diff kind of pain iv not started on hrt they gave me patches just not sure when I'm ment to start iv not really noticed any change in my moods yet xxxxxxxxxx
Glad you are feeling good. Day by day lovely that’s all you can do. I tend to feel like any surgery you feel worse before you feel better. Arnica is a good thing to take to help with the healing. I took it after surgery and it really did help xxxx
