Well I had my excision for stage 4 endo yesterday. Surgery took 3 hours although I'm yet to find out exactly what they have done. Was told today that I will get a detailed letter next week. For now I'm sore but ok and in good spirits. I just hope that my bilateral endometriomas have gone and I can move towards a brighter future.
All your stories and support have been great so far so thank you all x

Best of luck for your recovery. The first few weeks aren't easy but it's so worth it. A year on from mine and it was the most life changing (for the better!) thing I've ever had done.x
I did have some twitching for the first few days which was super annoying lol! I'm doing well just slooowwwww and tire easily! I have had a bit of cramping today but nothing too bad I just keep taking ibuprofen which helps. I was also prescribed tramadol but haven't had to take that for nearly 2 weeks now! xx
I know it's early days but I hate getting so tired so easily. I think I convinced myself I'd be different and heal super fast and be ready to go back to work early but I'm beginning to think I'm normal and that's not going to happen!
