Laparoscopy yesterday.... some questions

First of all thank to to everyone who posted on my last post. You all helped me so much. They didn’t find endometriosis. They removed a cyst took some biopsy’s, said my ovaries were bulky and lining of the womb was thick. Go back to see consultant in 6 weeks. So I don’t know yet whether the lap was a good idea or if it’s going to benefit me.

Questions:

I’ve got a horrible moving/ clicking sensation to the left of the belly button incision. It’s really gross and I wonder if it’s gas (not suffering with gas pains yet) but what is this horrid bubbling feeling. 🤢

I had hysteroscopy too. How much is normal to bleed. I bled quite a lot as I stood up this morning.

Was your wee super slow? They wouldn’t let me leave yesterday til 10.30 pm (admitted at 7am) because I couldn’t wee. Today it’s still taking me 10 mins to get a wee out!

I’m so so sore today 😰 thanks again everyone xx

Already sent you a pm. But the weeing for me was 3 days before it was normal speed. It just got easier gradually. I didn’t have the feeling I needed the toilet for first few days but just kept going every couple hours anyway. Think it’s just swollen and tender in there so needs a few mins to work out what it’s doing lol

I can see it now 😂thank you!

I still can't wee properly almost 2 weeks later, apparently it's to do with bruising and the catheter but I was told it would right itself x And the bubbling feeling is most likely to be gas, especially if it's not been painful anywhere else, mine spent a week coming out my shoulders and is now in my ribs! Are you going back to ask about adenomyosis? If the laps put your mind at ease about endo then and removed things, then I'd say it was worth it! Wishing you a speedy recovery x

I’ve just been talking to someone on here about this actually! I’ll definitely mention it in my consultation, thank you. I hope that’s all it is just gas. It’s horrid. So thankful I haven’t got the horrible gas pains people talk about though 🙏🏻. X

I took a few days to wee properly too, I would sit on the toilet for ages just trying to get all the wee out, felt like I couldn't put any pressure to push it out! I also had a cystoscopy during my laparsocopy. I bleed quite a bit for the first approx 5 days after, I even had some small clots with the bleeding, I'm now 8 days post op and im just spot bleeding now, but if you're worried call the hospital and they'll be able to advice you. Wishing you a speedy recovery xx
