Another Lap

Hi all going in for my 4th lap next week, then zoladex again, i am really nervous this time round as the endo is spreading so fast, got it on my right kindey and liver now, what do you do to cope before surgery? xxx

Good luck for your Lap that is coming up. Bless you, it certainly is spreading well. I hope the lap helps ease your pain for as long as possible and you have a speedy recovery. Must be nervous as you kinda know what to expect after the op ie bloated stomach, pains etc but not as sounds like they need do a lot more.

I am due to have my first one on 3rd June to also include trying to unblock my tubes. They haven't wanted to operate on me until last option due to previous surgery I have had and my organs being out of line. I am getting more and more nervous about it as it draws near.

I am trying not to think of it (easier said than done). I am trying to make sure I have cleaned the house, stocked up on food, arranged for someone to be with me for at least a few days after it. I am also being naughty eating ice cream and chocolate muffins!

Hi hun thanks for your lovely message of support x I am more nervous than I have been previously x luckily I stay with my parents again so will be spoiled x got two and a half yrs from last op so hopefully get the same or more x I hope all goes well with ur op and u have a speedy recovery im sure we can keep in touch xx

No problem, you are more than welcome.

Glad you got your parents to look after you when it done. My husband only has the day of the op off so I got my dad coming over to stay for a few days so I not alone.

Wow 2 and half years after last op. I hope you get that again or more after this next one. Yeh I will post on here how went.

Went drs today to see if blood test come back for a blood disorder I had to be checked for...turns out they not done the right test so I now gotta wait until after the op. But will mean needing injections just before op and for a few days after! So something else on top of it.
