HbA1c has gone down!!!!

Saw the diabetes nurse yesterday, my HbA1c is 63, down from 88 (not sure when it was 88, but who cares!)

I've been on Ozempic for about a year, but couldn't get any for several months due to the shortages. I'm back on it the last 3 months and have gradually increased to the 1mg dose (which it was I would have been on, had the supply not dried up).

The other thing she mentioned was that my white blood cells are elevated, she didn't seem to be bothered about despite my telling her I've not had any infections lately...

Forxiga

Diamicron

B12

Vit D

Ozempic

Well done. Mine went down from 55 to 44 this time, no reason why as no change in what I eat. I'm on Metformin

Wow, you're doing amazing! And I agree, a change in diet doesn't seem to have any effect

I'm sure mine is affected by stress, all during Covid lockdowns my mmol was higher than usual, which is essentially why I was given Ozempic.

I hope I don't have to stay on it permanently the side effects aren't nice!

totally agree about side effects from Ozempic waiting for a workshop for Dexcom or Libre finally after lots of hassle I’ve been accepted, yippee.

I am type2 but have been having under 4 readings first thing on a morning without any awareness.

Sounds like you need to have your meds adjusted to a lower dose

That’s good progress. The Forxiga is good at eliminating sugar from the system as well.

When I originally started on Forxiga I was getting hypos!

Me too. Really faint about lunchtime for the first two weeks. Fine now though.

I was having them during the night, thankfully I'd a cat who would wake me up and I'd be able to sort it out!

I am.on Dapafloxigin 5mg, with metformin also, and the data does give me hypos occasionally. Feel dizzy just before lunch. X
