I am currently on Diamicron 120 and Glixambi, but my body just isn’t coping and my last hba1c was 9.1!!! During COVID, my exercise has reduced, but the increase in levels just seems ridiculous, so thought I might consider my Dr’s suggestion of the injection.

Diamicron twice a day have been my routine along with the other vitamins and statins etc. I increased the dosage of Diamicron to thrice on my own. Still no change!

Recently Physicisn prescribed H Mix tard 50/50 32 -0 -20 HC along with Onderomet Trajenta 1 - 1 Diamicron XR Mex 1-0-1 all other tests are normal for BP I am taking Relmisart 40 daily one.

Diamicron MR 60 mg (1-0-1/2) Metformin 500 mg (1-1-1)

alot of butter n eggs ... very few cards..... my HbA1C in August 2017 was 12.5% now in Oct 2017 it is at 7.2% fasting BS was 235 in Aug 2017 now in Oct 2017 it is 96 Cholesterol is 350mg HDL raised to 70, LDL also raised 255mg Triglycerides 60mg ALT 32 AST 29 creatinine normal med: 1 capsule diamicron

What's the difference between the two Metformin in the above drugs

Which is more effective, taking Metformin/ Diamicron before food or after food.

She is 58 yrs old and right now taking diamicron 60 mg + istamet 50/500 in morning and diamicron 30 mg+ istamet 50/500 in evening. she has recently started taking paneer doda as advised by multiple friends for last 20 days.

I do take medicines-Janumet 1000 (lunch & dinner), (breakfast : Diamicron & Neurobian forte). Good luck on your management.

I was taking Diamicron 80 one in the morning and one in the night for years. I am able to reduce my morning dose by half and the reading is around 110 after 12 hrs fasting. What step I should take next? Give up the morning dose all together or reduce the night dose?

I take Lantus insulin (10 units ) daily, Diamicron XR MEX 500 and Janumet 50/500. Still my blood sugar levels don't come down to normal.

After being on LCHF for nearly a year I am about to reduce my Diamicron 80 I have been taking one in the morning and one in the night. I like to start by reducing one of the two reduced to half to start with.

I was reasonably controlling the situation with Metformin 1000 mg 1 tab and Diamicron MR 60 mg 2 tabs / day until last year.

Doctor put me on istamet 50-500 and diamicron. I started medicines on 21st Jan2016.Form 19th January 2014 I was on tour to Lucknow for business purpose.Where i enjoyed all Lucknowi food rich of carbs.LOL.Then on backwards tour attended on Marriage.

I TAKE 1gm METFORMIN AND 30mg DIAMICRON MR MORNING AND SAME IN THE EVENING, MY SUGAR LEVEL IS 6.3 HB1CA ALWAYS. I WANT TO ASK SHOULD I START HOMOEOPATHIC OR TO START INSULIN . PLEASE SUGGEST REGARDS SHIV UPPAL

Now doctor has changed it to DIAMICRON-MR- 30mg initially one tab 1/2 hr before Breakfast & after 2 weeks increased it to twice daily e.g. one tab before Breakfast & one before Dinner.

i am female wt 57 kg height 5 ft 3 inch ,age 44 having lipid profile n all other data normal except suger which is 145 fasing n 260 pp .i am having diamicron mex 500mg two times n januvia 100 one time at noon.Please suggest me so that i can leave medicine as i got fedup with eating medcine .i just wanted

i am type 2 diabetic ,i do 30 min brisk walk in the morning in 4 days a week, i am working & do a lot of work ,i eat two roti sabzi at a time but still my blood sugar not controlled.my fasting is 145 PP ig 275 n H1ac is 7.6 presently doct suggested me to have diamicron mex 500 mg before bf n dinner
