How to get medicine free life

I am 44 year female, diagnosed as diabetic 4 years back with hba1c as 7.3.both my parents are diabetic. At present my hba1c is 6.3. medicine is riomet 500mg twice a day.generally my pp is in range but fasting is around 115 --120. I read here many people stories about their medicine free life.

Some says don't take jowar, bajra, chana roti while some suggest to avoid wheat.what is right and how I can make my life also medicine free.i walk(brisk) daily3.5 -4.0 km ,do asans.

More coconut, avocado, olive oil, nuts (not peanuts or cashews), eggs, full-fat dairy, with above ground vegetables and only tiny amounts of legumes.

Less or none of all grains, flour, root vegetables, fruit or sugar.

What will be the effect of high fat diet on heart health?

Legumes means daal?

Fruits have natural sugars, minerals.is all fruits strictly No?

No chapati?

Pl clarify above doubts.

Fats like carbs or proteins can be good/bad/dangerous.. Just like carbs from green veggies and protein from eggs/meat/dairy/veggie are great in that order..so also fats from health sources.. A diet high in fat..where fat is from vegetable oil...or anything high in PUFA (poly unsaturated fatty acids) can be damaging. Good sources of fat would be coconut oil, ghee,butter, healthy nuts (walnuts/almonds), almost anything naturally occurring and not processed or minimally processed. Dietary fat does not have a direct correlation to heart health. Body fat/ overweight/obesity does and thats a direct coorelation of risk.

Sir, what is easy method to count carb, protein &fat in meals?

Also being a vegetarian , how can get protein portion?Are rajma, chhola, beans have more carbs as compare to protein?

Neetuaga plz do not get confused...it is very simple... reduce your consumption of grains..

Instead of chapatti u can go for besan chilla..increase vegetables..avoid fruits.. brisk walk...

just follow these simple things... no need to go for any high tech things as counting carbs etc...
