HOW TO CONTROL DIABETES TYPE 2 WITHOUT TAKING ANY KIND OF MEDICINE.

Diabetes seems to be caused due to taking more food than required by our body. As per Indian Vedic System of diet, one needs to consume as much food as much one can take in BRAHMCHARY ASHRAM( 0-25 YEARS), 32 kore in GRAHASTHA ASHRAM(25-50 YEARS), 16 Kore in VANPRASHA ASHRAM ( 50-75 YEARS) and 8 Kore in SANYAS ASHRAM( 75-100 YEARS)

But since every body’s life style is different so this theory can not be blindly followed but one has to do some experiments to find out the correct quantity of food to be taken at his age and for his body.

I was suffering from type-2 diabetes since 2003 and I could maintain my blood sugar level by completely stopping sugar and taking herbs till 2008 without taking any medicine but from Jan, 2009, it became impossible to keep my blood sugar in normal level.

No matter what effort I made, it did not come down. Then I came across the VEDIC STYLE OF DIET. I started reducing my diet slowly till I felt little dizziness or weakness once in a week.

I presumed that quantity of food to be the right diet for my age and for my body. NOW MY BLOOD SUGAR IS 80\110 AND BLOOD PRESSURE IS 70\110 FOR THE LAST 8 YEARS WITHOUT TAKING ANY KIND OF MEDICINE OR HERBS EVEN.

THIS INFORMATION MAY BE MADE USE OF BY DIABETIC PATIENT BUT DOING EXPERIMENTS WITH ONE’S BODY, ONE HAS TO BE VERY CAREFUL AND ONE SHOULD CONTACT HIS DOCTOR IF ONE FEELS ANY UNDESIRABLE EFFECT ON ONE’S BODY.

  • Even if you are controlling diabetes, it is necessary to check the functioning of vital organs (eg:-- Heart, kidney, eyes, teeth, blood pressure, lipid profile etc) once in every six months.

  • Yes you are right since I am engineer , my daughters also told me that I must get my body checked at APOLO HOSPITAL GURGAON. Doctors when saw me since my weight was only 53kg told me that I might be suffering from some diseases. I told them to check all of my organs at the age of 58 years in 2011, they checked all of my organs and made a report that my body is defect free and all the organs are working in perfect condition. After that my daughters stopped telling me to get my body organs checked in hospitals.

  • yes you are absolutely right. When we observe that animals living in forest never fall sick . The reason is very simple , right from liar to mosquitos , their weight does not increase once they become young since they eat as per their body's food requirement that is why they never fall sick but we human being eat more food than our body's requirement which causes diseases. My own weight was 43 kg at the age of 24 years but it increased to 66 kg at the age of 35 years so I ate more food then my body's requirement which caused sugar and other diseases to me. once I reduced my weight to 53 kg now , no diseases come to me.

  • If u eat less diet is not important,it is important how much protein,carb,fibre,fat u r eating. Plz mentioned these facts also. If u eat less protein &etc.yr body organ will failure after sometime. So plz guide with facts to the people. Yr diet idea is good,but with necessary requirements for long survival of body.

  • We must learn to communicate with our body and not follow doctor' diet plan since doctors them selves suffer from all kinds of diseases. Doctors do not live a natural life but live like the way all of us live. If we can learn interacting with our body then only we can find out the right diet and the main parameter which decides that we are eating right kind and quantity of food is when we are able to maintain our body's weight at older age as per our body's weight at the age of 25 years since it is a natural rule not to increase our body's weight after the age of 25 years since our organs stop increasing their size after the age of 25 years.

  • Very glad to know that you are controlling your bs levels through diet. Want to inform you I was 75+ kha at the age of 25 now 65. My age 54+ at present. Diabetic since the age of 39 controlled sugar through medicine. Need your advice about intake of diet. Regards

  • Let me tell you what kind of diet I am taking but let me tell you frankly that my age is 64 years and obviously the structure of out bodies may be different so one should not copy other's diet. All what I can say is that you must find out the requirement of diet for your body by making experiments the way I made 7 years back. Once you are able to find out your body's diet requirement then no disease will ever come to you. As I understand the main cause of diseases is Ghee\oil, if we minimise it to few drops per day , our major disease will go away.

    I take 500 cc milk in the morning and 500 cc milk in the evening but I

    take toned milk only. I eat 2 pieces of bread in the morning along

    with the milk and during lunch , I take 3 chapatis without any ghee

    and I take any vegetable and Dal but I use only one \two drops of Ghee

    or Oil for preparation of Dal and vegetable. During nIght I take only

    2 Chapatis and vegetables\Dal.

    I eat Dalia without any ghee\oil some times for lunch \dinner . I have

    stopped eating any thing prepared with Ghee\oil such as cutlet\samosa

    and other such items.

    I eat all kinds of fruits in the evening.

  • You have told about your diet.But this changes from person to person.The metabolic parameter varies.As per your diet you are consuming high carb low fat diet.But we are following LCHF diet.The point lies on the metabolic parameters only.One should try if wanted.which food suits you without spiking suger should be objective.Thanks.

  • Yes You are right. The diet depend on one's life style and body structure. I never told any body to

  • follow my diet pattern. I only told every body to find out the right quantity of food for one' body and then follow it . This is the only way to remain medicine\doctor free.

  • I have already written that main cause of diabetes is kind of food and quantity of food we consume. If you reduce the oil\ghee and other fat containing materials to minimum i.e. to few drops or 1\2 mg and you are able to reduce your diet as per the need of your body's food requirement then your diabetes will go away.

    I have already written that I am not a doctor but engineer by profession but simply by living natural life pattern , I could control my blood sugar level.

  • @gssengar..thanks for postings...like food etc.. you are right to say everybody should devise his own diet plans according to his needs... but in diabetes carb is culprit.. if one eats more carbs, he would need more medicines.

    Do you keep record of your parameters like HbA1c, and lipids ,also on effect on kidney etc?.. The posting of such recordings with your dietary habits will be useful to readers.

  • I have already written that all of my organs were checked in 2011 by Apollo hospital gurgaon and they could not find any defect in any of my organs. I once again got all of my organs checked by FORTIS HOSPITAL BANGALORE on 10\06\2017 since my daughters asked me to get my all the organs checked at hospital but Fortis hospital also gave me a report that all of my organs are not having any abnormality and I don't need any kind of treatment or medicine for any disease in any of my organ.

  • gssengar ....I had suggested you to post your periodic reports of health parameters versus your diet so that members can avail benefits of your experience in control in of diabetes.. without reports it is difficult to analyse and follow your diet ..

  • I have already written that at the age of 64 years my Blood Pressure as measured by FORTIS HOSPITAL, BANGALORE on 10\6\2017 was 80\115 and blood sugar level was 85\136. There are hundreds of other parameters measured by them for different organs and as per their report , they were found to be normal. Now I can tell you about my diet pattern but one need not follow it . One has to find out his own diet for his body and life pattern
