aFTER SEEING YOUR POSTS, I TRIED TO FOLLOW THE SAME. i AM A DIABETIC FOR THE PAST 15 YEARS. MY AGE IS 68.
fbs USED TO BE AROUND 180 AND ppBS 220.
AFTER STOPPING MILK AND MILK PRODUCTS TOTALLY (NO TEA, COFFEE, BUTTERMILK ETC), AFTER 4 DAYS MY fbs CAME DOWN TO 140 TODAY. I DID NOT CHK PPBS.
MY ONE QUESTION IS, THOUGH I AM TAKING NORMAL FOOD, I FEEL VERY WEAK SOME TIMES. HAS IT GOT ANY THING TO WITH NO MILK BUSINESS?

I never experienced weakness though I am having weight loss. But research points out to the fact that weight loss aids in better blood sugar control and possibly reversal. So l was suggested to be happy with the weight loss . In the mornings you SHOULD be having a glass of green vegetable smoothie with 20 % of fruit. I prefer apple. This has to be taken first thing in the morning on empty stomach. After half an hour you can have breakfast which should not include any grain. I prefer dosa or idles or appes made only of deals or sprouts. I hope you are following 25 percent plate rule that I mentioned. It's extremely necessary to have fibre in formed salads with every meal. grains can be had after 11 in the morning and only one at a time. Replace chapattis with jowar or bajra roti. If available have foxtail millet as replacement for rice. Khichadi of this millet with moong daal tastes delicious. But then no roti if hhavingmillet.
