Monday morning.....

Today found me in that 'I really don't want to do this' mood...... How easy it would be to just not run any more....... You don't have to you know............What on earth am I doing it for anyway?..........

When I feel like this, I just log on to c25k and read a few blogs, and hey presto! My mood shifts, a little wave of motivation comes in to my lethargic body, and off I trundle to get my running kit on! Magic!

Started B210k today, maybe that's why the feelings of trepidation appeared......

Found it a weird sensation to have the 'rests', and the last 10 minutes was a battle to keep going. I'm sure I could have walked faster by the end! But I did it! Voices kept popping into my head - 'slow and steady' (thanks greenlegs), 'you can do it' (thanks Laura) etc. etc.

So thanks guys, what a great community, and I'm so glad that after c25k the support, encouragement and camaraderie just keeps going! Long may it last!

Well done Petal on starting B210K, and so soon after graduating, thats just brilliant! :) I found going back to intervals quite hard too and I think a lot here do and I remember that last 10 mins being a real struggle as well.... :O

Keep going though, you are doing just great!

Thanks Sue. I still find it hard to keep going, but as long as there is something to aim for, I think I can do it! Hopefully one day it really will be just a habit to go out running.

So we are doing this together! Weird that I find the first 10 minutes hardest and I miss Laura. Samantha's timing is less precise methinks!

Yes! Together sounds good! I miss Laura too, though I'll probably do 'speed' a few times as I really enjoyed it.

Samantha just doesn't sound the same!

Wish we had some of your Italian weather...............

Yay! Slow and steady rules! :D It's lovely to think that things we write on here pop up in someone else's mind, miles away, and it motivates them - all through little black marks on a screen - strange really! Reading is powerful stuff.

Good luck with the b25k - it will be a while before I give that a try, I think, but it's good reading about it! :D
