Monday morning high

Just done R1 in W5 this morning and managed it OK. I'm on a high from doing it. It's a mile stone as the last time I did this program I stopped short at W5 so the WP will have to take over big time now. But thank you to Lemondoodle and MissWobble for the encouraging words. Slow is better than not going at all. I'm going to try some dynamic stretches as a warm up next time. Anything to get over the W5 hurdle. Happy jogging everyone! x

  • Well done for conquering that demon. Onwards and upwards now.

  • Nothing beats a post run high, even if the run was hard.

Well done, savour the high all day, and make sure you tell everyone about it! :-)

  • Well done Just keep plodding away You will surprise yourself with what you will be able to do

  • It sounds as if things are going well. Don't worry about being slow. It's not a race! As long as you do what Laura says you'll be fine. Good luck with Run 2

  • Congratulations! Me too, same run, same day. I started back in September but had to stop for a while due to illness. Friday and R3 looms - I'm excited! All the best for this week :)

  • Hello I will be fit! Just wanted to see if you'd done your R2 in this Week 5 yet? I went this morning and just managed both runs. Hope you run goes/went well. Roll on Friday - yikes! :)

  • Hi, yes I have! Well done you too! Pavements a bit slippery this morning but finished without a fall :). Worked out my route for Friday - can't wait. All the best!

  • THANK YOU all of you! Such a help knowing you're not plodding on alone out there!
