To those of you who responded to my plea yesterday, thank you all :-) I slept like a baby last night, thats not like me at all! Im such a light sleeper normally. Anyway, I got home, put the deep freeze gel on my legs (ouch) and got a good 10.5 hours sleep. Woke up with the most mightiest headache (no, I wasnt on the vino!) so set off to the supermarket before worK. I am now sipping tonic water with lime, and ate a banana (thanks oldgirl). I have chatted to a guy at work about what happened who's a super nutritionist and exercise guru. He thought I may have some sodium deficiency (explains the extreme sweat after 5 mins, headache, fatigue, cramps?) and recommended I give zero extreme sport drink tabs a go. So I have one ready with another banana before I go out later. I am just going to aim for a really slow 20 minutes and see how I feel. Then I am off work till next Wednesday so I can have a nice lie in tomorrow morning. Bliss.

Tonic water supped, 3 bananas down, and a zero extreme drink thingy worked wonders and peace, tranquility and happiness is restored. I ambled round a lovely path for 30.34 mins before I got to the "home" point. I could have done a bit more can never run past the point when I see my house. I often think I'll have to be carried back if I go the opposite way again :-) But I found a new route thats just dandy for 30 mins and thats all I want at this point. Three of them a week will do me just fine. You're doing fabulous. Putting me to shame!

I hope the bananas, rest and tonic water help! I know what you mean about not running back past your house - it feels all wrong somehow :D All the best with your next run.

I'm delighted you've knocked that old demon monkey off your soulder, the tonic water and banana works wonders for me so I'm really pleased it seems to have helped you too. Well done, blissful running from now on :)
