Week 6 Run 2 and W1R1 all over again! :')

Hey everyonee :) I'm actually writing this blog 2 days late (and yes, I am doing W6R3 tonight), so sorry if I can't remember everything that happened on the run!

The first 10 mins was really easy. Like really easy. I must have been going extremely slowly. For the last minute I decided to run/sprint it to get some distance and make me slightly tired!! The last minute was magical, seriously. I think I may have experienced a "runners high" but I'm not entirely sure. It felt like I was dreaming and my legs felt like they weren't even running, they were flying! It was the coolest feeling.

For the last 10 minutes I decided to up the speed, and for the first 5 minutes I was gong far too fast for me to be able to keep up the speed so for the last 5 mins I paced myself.

On my way home, I decided to do the W1 podcast again. I only got to do 3 of the runs until I got home, but it was so crazy guys! A minute seemed like 10 seconds! I was sprinting it and I wasn't even slightly tired! I can't believe how much I have grown and changed, I'm really proud of myself!!

It seems I am not very good at pacing myself appropriately and I am always either going to fast or too slow. This makes me nervous for tonight! Ahhh, any last words of advice for the 25mins run?

P.s If you read my blogs regularly you remember me saying that I have managed to get my dad to start C25K, and now after weeks of persuasion, my mum is joining us!!! I'm so happy! :D

P.P.S I am also quite ill, so getting through 25 mins is going to be hard, really need your guys support right now!

Good luck tonight, did mine this morning and my advice is just to take it slowly. Speed can be worked on later. And choose a flat route.

Well done on completing the run! I was planning on doing my normal route, but about 3 mins in, I approach "devil hill" which is annoyingly big :( Do you think I should go another route?

I think if the uphill is at the beginning that old be ok if you take it slow - do you do a loop or is it there and back? Would it mean downhill on the way back, when you are tired?

Yes the hill was at the beginning. I did the run tonight, and completed it, but my distance wasn't so great (2.3m). But I have all of next week to work on that eh!
