Week 6, run 2

I found that hard today. The wind was terrible so I don’t think that helped. I started off pretty well and the wind even managed to help me up an incline, but boy did I notice the difference on the second 10 minute run. I managed to complete it but I’m slightly concerned I won’t manage 25 mins on the next run

6.3 is pretty scary, but you know that determination got you here so far... Slow down to a shuffle if needed, so you can finish. I remember Laura saying in every run, that endurance is more important than speed. I don’t have any advice for the mental game. I’m at 8.2 and still struggle. Speedy60 said it is a sheer bloodymindedness that gets us through.

I’ve done w6r3 tonight. I found w6r1 quite a struggle, which surprised me. You have done 20 mins straight, already last week. You can do 25. I just have.

I really dislike the wind. This week it’s been biting sharp in Suffolk.

I am walking in the snow in the French alps, it’s very warm and underpopulated but returning to the Suffolk weather very soon.

Hopefully your next run will be fine, I managed the 25 minutes and felt so good about it
