I'm one run ahead of you. Like you I thought how on earth am I going to run for that amount of time?! I kept it very slow and gave myself a talking to! I also used road signs to break up the run. I'm hoping these tactics will help with run 3!!! I felt elated when I'd finished. I also kept thinking of what I would write in my blog. Good luck
I'm one run ahead too. I found the eight minutes ok. Remember you only have two tubs to do. I found that helped. Helen, when are you doing run three? Mine's tomorrow an I'm equally nervous and excited.
I'm doing the first run of Week 5 this afternoon - also find the 5 minutes pretty tough but also just about do-able. Think I find it more challenging because it's in the gym on the treadmill at the moment (trying to monitor my speed and keep that steady) so it's dreadfully boring. Can't imagine running for 20 minutes and not actually going anywhere!!!
But I've said to myself that once the programme gets into the realms of running for decent chunks of time I'll increase the incline on the treadmill first for a bit and then head outside for my runs.
Good luck everyone! Let us know how that do-able that 20 minutes actually turned out to be!!
