Just a note to say I am alive, it was ace and we got around in 1hr18 with my asthmatic lungs playing up a bit but it was really good fun and soooooo well organised. There was even a tent to leave your stuff, live music and thousands of people!
Now have a glass of wine snuggled up on the sofa watching prof Brian cox but my brain is not computing lol!
Pic is of me and my lovely other half who ran extra slowly just to keep me company, tell e stories and even sing me through the tough bits. Life is good
Sry if it's a bit disjointed but it's super quick. Hope you all had a lush weekend.

Jems well done. Great time and what a lovely other half for keeping you company. Feeling a little tired myself now and not sure I will be able to walk in the morning.
Congratulations on your first 10K race, Jeddahpm! Pleased to hear you enjoyed the event. Did you enjoy the spectators clapping and cheering you on? I found that a bit surreal
Whoo-hoo!!! So very proud of you!!! Such a sweet gesture to run and sing to you...you both deserve a huge congratulations! I love the photo and I hope you enjoyed that wine! Again, I am very proud and happy for you!!! Gayle
Oh guys thank you so much for your lovely comments, they really made me smile. Today is sooo busy but I hope to post another blog later to share more about my run and of course it will be nice to look back on. You have no idea what your support has meant to me in this journey so far. This community has given me wings! Thanks soooooo much!
