2nd 10K of the week!! :)

Hello again! Just back from my second 10K of the week- I've successfully proved to myself that the first one wasn't a fluke! Just wrote a post in the bridge to 10K forum which was weird!! Had a great run tonight, with my boyfriend this time. Managed 10.6K in just under 1 hour and 5mins so really pleased! Breathing was good again- just tiring legs towards the end. Even finished by running up a big hill to my flat at the end! I can't believe in  December I struggled to run for 1 minute and now I can run for over n hour! Just to temper what I've said- I'm 28 and quite slim and reasonably fit from walking so I know I'm in a bit of a different category to a lot of people on here but I hope everyone can see how much a positive attitude and belief you can do it makes a difference! For everyone who is currently doing the programme keep going and believe you can do it because you can! And it's great!! :)

Wow, look at those splits! You got faster and faster - that must have felt good :-)

Great run, well done!

Brilliant :)

It seems to be harder for 'you folk!' on here.

'Slim and reasonably fit' or not it still takes effort and commitment to get the progress and results that you want.

It's all relative, your hard work is bringing great results and you deserve it as much as an ex-unfit-fatty (that'll be me lol!)

Well done x

Super progress! You've done so well. You have inspired me to keep plugging at trying to lose weight as although I'm much fitter than I used to be pre running, maybe a few pounds could make all the different to my running form. Well done again x
