Ok, so I was bored... bored with listening to my music, bored with Laura, bored with just running with no targets.
Sooo, I went hunting, on iTunes of course to see if there were any more interesting podcasts, and I found a few that looked reasonable, and more to the point, were free
Tonight I went out and did a bit of quick HIIT.... ok, so maybe not that quick, but certainly quicker than i've done previously. The podcast timing was 26 minutes, but that included the 5 min warm up and 5 min cool down.
The running involved 1 min at high speed, and the music was quite fast, followed by 4 minutes at slightly??!! slower, repeated 3 times.
I ran just over 3Km and increased my speed over each Km and also increased my average speed and best of all, I feel GREAT
It may have been a short run, but it was a worthwhile run, and I now have something to work towards improving. That's my Tuesday run sorted, now to find something different for Thursday
