I just ran for 20 minutes!!

Oh wow! I can't quite believe I ran (slowly) for 20 minutes! Bit emotional. A few weeks ago I struggled with running for 3 minutes!

It was hot, the first 5 minutes were horrible, the next 10 were quite enjoyable then the last 5 were really tough (not as tough as week 4 strangely).

I didn't fuel myself very well today and I could tell that, stomach cramps with 5 minutes to go :( but I carried on so I'm excited to see what happens when I do eat properly! I'm still so happy I did it, this program is fantastic and I've loved week 5!

Off to celebrate now with a lie down in front of a fan :)

Well done. I've just joined this community. Tonight I ran 10 mins and walked 5 then ran 10 and find it hard to believe in 2 runs it will be run 20 but I never thought I'd get this far😀

Well done. That is a big milestone.

Week 6 was tricky for many of us so no complacency allowed now!

Ha ha. Fab post. Love the thought of you lying down in front of a fan! Well done on the biggie. Take it nice and slow and steady for the remaining runs and you'll need that fan less and less!

Oh dear, this is it, you've caught the running bug!! I still remember my 20 min run, I redid it the other day and when I finished kept thinking, is that it where's the rest. Seriously though it gets to you and this is just the beginning. Well done you, and welcome to the world of running.

Well done...I'm a bit behind you now (I think we were more or less at the same point a few weeks ago), but after recovering from an injury I am back on the program and about to complete week 4...again, LOL!! Really good to see how you're getting on and what's in store for me over the next few weeks. Keep up the good work.

Thanks :) I struggled with week 4 and almost lost my mojo, went down to running once a week! Loved week 5 though!

Hope your leg feels back to normal, keep going :)
