Here's hoping that this time around I'll get beyond W6R3. Baby steps though .Covered 3.2K with W1R1 including the warm-up and cool-down walks. Hope W1R2 is a little bit easier tomorrow. Its good to be back on the horse.

I'm starting again myself, last year I got to the end of week 4, I kept trying to restart but always tried to start half way through and lost motivation, so this time I thought if I go back to the beginning I might be able to stick to it this time! Good luck and keep it up :)

Thanks for the encouragement. How far in are you? What stopped you? I now know from experience what a buzz finishing W5r3 is. The transition from interval to continuous running was my block (plus minor injury)

I just finished week 1 yesterday, I stopped last year as I went through a bit of emotional turmoil and lost my appetite and so had no energy to run, got over it soon after but never got the motivation to take it up again, I also injured my knee in week 3 and took a rest for a week, I went straight to week 4 after and was surprised I managed to do it as it was the most I ever managed before, couldn't stop grinning, cant imagine how great 20mins straight would feel! I can't wait!

I'm in week 6 and fighting a mental challenge too. For me it was doing the 20 minute run in week 5 then going back to the intervals. Runs 1 and 2 of week 6 seemed killer! I kept thinking, how can this be so difficult when I just did 20?? I'm scheduled now to only do long runs, so I hope it will be better. Good luck to the two of you and I admire your determination to start over again.

I think its a case of not realising how much that first 20 min run can take out of you. Nest time around I shall definitely take 2 rest days before w6r1.
