I just did W9 R1 - arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Soooo happy! I feel really proud as I really didn't believe I would be doing this a couple of months back. I was sure I was going to be the one it doesn't work for! But I just ran for 30 minutes... whats more the first half I almost enjoyed!!!
Normally I look forward to a run and love the feeling after, but am not so keen on the 'during', but today I got into a good rhythum and pace and flew through the first 12 or so minutes. At the half way mark I had to stop for 10 seconds to avoid getting splatted by a tractor (which I was a little annoyed by), and it seemed harder after that! But I was determined not to stop til Laura told me to and I did it! I have no idea how far I ran, going to drive the route later so I can clock it! Sad or what!

Brilliant! Theres's nothing better than driving a route you've taken, it always seems a really long way in the car, and if the children are in the car too they are always in awe. (which is always a good feeling because washing and cooking and cleaning doesn't have the same effect on them )
Congratulations fellow huffer and puffer. It really is too fantastic to be true this programme. I'm doing my graduation run tomorrow and have to pinch myself to believe it! Good luck for your final runs..... and then??
Thank you all, feel bit deflated now that I've clocked my run, only 2.3 miles which if google is correct isn't even 4k let alone 5k! I must be running mega slow!!!
I've just finished week 1 and am DEFINITELY a huffer and puffer. I really didn't think I'd ever be able to physically progress onto running for 30mins non stop (seems unimaginable at this stage) but after reading your post I have hope! Keep up the good work!
That is so impressive. Very well done! You must feel fantastic about it all. I am a proper old huffer and puffer so it's very encouraging to hear your progress. Nearly there, angelmummy.... feel proud.
