Wow, that was just amazing. Didn't ever think I would manage to run for 3 mins without stopping, was quite apprehensive about tonight but now I feel over the moon. Well happy. Bring on sat morning.
Ps I have been carrying out stretches after my run and also abs exersizes, however should I stretch before I start????

if you are walking briskly enough during your warm-up walk, I don't think stretches make any difference to the outcome- your muscles should warm up nicely during your walk. I'm really glad things are going so well. Sounds as if you have got your pace just right and a suitable route sorted. Great progress
Three minutes is such a huge achievement. I was so proud of myself for managing it! Three times as long as week 1 required of us, and I could barely manage the 60seconds!
I agree with HappierSwimming - I don't stretch before (and have only just started doing so after) because the walks seem to give me enough of a warm up, but I have started feeling that stretching after is due!
I with happier and aytriaris, stretching after is vital for me and doctor has also recommended I do them in the day also, tightening muscles and ll that. Glad your enjoying.
