How come, last week I ran for 20 minutes straight quite easily and now I struggle after a 5 min, 8 min and 5 min run? I was wrecked and counting the seconds until Laura told me to stop!

I am feeling exactly the same! Managed week 6 runs 1 and 2 (just) but have not yet managed run 3 - third time lucky on Friday I hope. Don't let it get you down, just move on to the next run or, as I do which is to repeat the blooming session until I've conquered it! (um, not that I obsess over it lol)

Keep going and keep smiling :-)

Not so good runs happen but maybe you went too quickly. I am sure you will find your next run fine, you are over half way and doing really well.

I have struggled with week 6 runs 1 and 2 and have just put a blog on about how I felt. Good luck for the rest of week 6. Keep calm and carry on running!

I think a lot of people found week 6 surprisingly tough after W5R3 - remember that W5R3 was WAY longer than you had ever done before and treat Week 6 as a semi-recovery week. Take it easy, start off slow and concentrate on pacing yourself. Conserve your energy for week 7 and Don't Worry !! :-)

Yes I struggled too but I guess the programme knows what it doing and we need to trust it! I struggled on Monday with r1 but hoping r3 better tomorrow!

Good luck with your running :-)

week 6 is always a tough one, probably because it seems so hard to work up a good running rhythm because of the intervals. However, r1 and 2 are very helpful for r3 and there is time during that one to get into a rhythm. Afterwards it's long runs all the way! Happy running :)
