I am revisiting at the moment my C25k journey from 2 years ago, but via the Zombie-Run-5k journey, which is 8 weeks long.
So this was the start of the final week!
It involved
* 5 min Walk
* 5 min Freeform Run
* 2 min Stretching/Walking
* 20 min Run
* 5 min Stretching/Walk
* 5 min Free Form Run
* 3 min Stretching/Walk
* 5 min Free Form Run
So this had the big 20 min stretch of running. Total 45 min of running. But knees felt strong, back was painless and my new, colourful capri leggings kept me cool and happy in the glorious sunshine.
Only one more training run, and then - according to my app - it’s a 5k run. I have a feeling it would be more adequate called a 45min run, and even in that time I will not reach 5k.
So here’s to the final week!
Keep on keeping on everyone!

Enjoy reclaiming that 5k/45mins or whatever it turns out to be. Good to see you remaining injury free as well. You had quite a long spell on the IC I seem to remember?
I did. So it’s good to come back again, and my metatarsals are holding up! (I also changed to zero drops and wide toe box and I think this was also a significant positive change)
Must re visit the Zombies run app, keep forgetting about it as I don't think I fully worked out how to use it for it's full capacity. Going to definitely have a look again this week.thanks for the reminder!!🧟♀️🧟♀️
Yeah, the free version does not have the 5k plan, but I think you get the first three missions free, and then on the free plan I think you get one mission-unlock every 10 days or so.
I used the free version for at least half a year before getting an annual subscription. Than I came off it for a while, but have subscribed during this 5k plan. I will unsubscribe it again after finishing, as I want to delve more deeply into NRC audio guided runs. But I’m sure I will return to it again.
