The dreaded week 6, run 1

Holy cow! I was mentally prepared because I'd heard everyone else struggling to kick its ass but BLOOMIN ECK..... Come back to a hearty breakfast of egg on toast, big grin still on chops. Lol

I log the whole half hr on my fitbit, including the 2 x 5 min warm up n cool down. Does this look OK? Too slow? Too fast???

I did the same run today :) Well done. I couldn't keep running during the second run so I made up for it later on. Fab work. I couldn't comment on the pace, I'm crap with numbers (I use metric). Keep at it!

Looks good to me, although I've no idea about pace, speed or distance as my running brain works in km. plus remember it's not about speed or distance but more about running for the duration of the intervals so that by the end you can run for 30mins.

You managed to keep going to the end and that's really great. Keep on grinning, you've done well. 🤓

WOW, well done, I really struggled with that run on Saturday, I'm doing run 2 later. 😁

Sounds like you deserve that breakfast. It all looks good to me. I've looked at times/distances on another app whilst doing the C25K but I can never make sense of it. On the weeks with intervals I went further than when the runs got longer. I've just finished week 6 this morning. 25 mins running was fun:)!!!

Omg. That's my Sunday run. (I hope). I've noticed the same thing. I cover more distance when running with intervals. I think because I'm pacing myself more on the longer run and going slower

Well done! As for times you shouldn't worry about them. There are some runners on here that seem to be very fast and then there's the rest of us! Believe me my times have never been fast but I am a lot fitter than I was. You will also be building up stamina which is what you need for the longer runs.

You did great!

This is about stamina, not speed or distance. Some will be slower, some faster.

Just do your best.

Looks good to me but I'm metric too and the whole maths thing of dividing by 8? And multiplying by 5 or 6 or whatever it is, makes me sleepy. I think it looks ace though, and you blooming well did it. No repeats, no tears, just a big grin and egg on toast. Tell me a better way to start the day....🍳🍞
