Just completed my first week. Today's run seemed tougher and I'm dreading going into Week 2! I am determined to do this and am inspired by other peoples blogs and the support that I have received. Thanks everyone, I'll keep you posted.

Well done on finishing your first week, really brilliant.

Every week brings new challenges but this program works.

Listen to Laura and take the running parts slowly and you'll be fine.

Think about all of us egging you on :)

Well done on week 1. Please don't dread it - it's an adventure and you can do. The plan is brillantly written so that it stretches you but allows you time to build the muscles and stamina you need. If you start feeling it is difficult just run really, really slowly. It works. Keep blogging.

well done, week 1 was the toughest for me, just getting going is a great achievement and you should be proud of that.

Good luck for week 2, we all know you can do this :)

Well done on getting through week 1!

I wouldn't worry to hard about it - I've had good runs and bad runs, and they can happen at any point. I just keep slogging away and chalk it up to the weather or being a little ill.

Welcome and well done! Getting through the first week takes determination, you had to get off that Couch and now you are on your way. Trust the programme, it works and once Week 2 is under your belt there will be no stopping you.

Good luck, hang on in there and let us know how you're getting on. Huge smiles of encouragement from everyone :) :) :)
