I was going to go this morning but it was a combination of it being 515 am, eekkk and oh god im knackered....so im going tomorrow! in the morning before it gets stupidly hot. struggled a bit with motivation this morning but think it was a combination of the time and the knackeredness ;)

Looking forward to tomorrow - just bought Runners World mag to inspire me haha ;)

Hi ezmee, great to hear that there is someone at exactly the same stage! i will be doing my wkr3 on sunday though as its a rest day today. I've heard that running on the grass helps with your knees can be a little easier.

What time have you been running in the morning? i dont think i would have the motivation to go out quite as early as 5:15 am either! I'm hoping to set off around 6:45am on sunday as its set to be another scorching day!

Best of luck and looking forward to hearing your progress

Ah I Havent been running quite as early as 515 yet....I had some annual leave so started this programme during those few days..then i tried to fit it in with work - fail hehe ;) So tomorrow - interesting about the grass....cos my knees can suffer sometimes but I have got proper shoes now after gait analysis for road running.....let me know how you get on too :)

I've been doing my 5 minute warm up/down walk in the grass...it is supposed to help strengthen your feet and ankles. I won't run on grass tho, as there is too much danger of turning an ankle and falling, or worse, putting an end to my running altogether...can't have THAT now, can we?

I think its the heat, as im a morning person and could not face getting out of bed for a run yesterday. Love the picture thats exactly how the weather is leaving me feeling, hoping to go out tomorrow morning but it wont be at 5.15.

Good luck with the next run

My W1R3 is due tomorrow as well...seriously lacking motivation, the heat isn't helping, especially as I'm not a morning person, so it will have to be done when it's already scorching, plus the pooch started limping again tonight following a neck injury a few weeks ago that we thought had healed up. Clearly it hasn't and worrying about him doesn't exactly help me get in the mood for running! :-(
