I am finding it very encouraging to read others posts on here at the same stage as me. It is good to hear the struggles and the positives - lets me know we're all going through this together.
WK 3 Run 1: I am finding it very encouraging to... - Couch to 5K
WK 3 Run 1
Well done π
Yes there are loads doing the plan at the mo so you'll be in good company
Just go slowly! That's key ππ
I've just done W3R2 πwas an effort tonight after a busy day at work but luckily winds had died down and managed to get home before it got dark! Feel glad I pushed myself to do it tonight though. Still managing to take my dogs with me so is good for us all. Glad we're at the same stage π
The dogs need to start posting!
Lol I've got a miniature Jack Russell whose little legs go like the wind, think I may be carrying her later on but you never know, am sure she could still outrun me! The other is a Whippet cross who trots along and I'm sure she's thinking when are we going to start running then! They're good company and the run feels pleasurable as they're there plus they get extra walks/trots/jogs!
I start W3 tomorrow how was it ? can't wait π going to get up @5am and run. π
Impressed you're getting up at 5am. I just tried not to think to much and just get on with it. It worked for me for run 1 anyway.
I absolutely LOVE morning running.
I travel a lot with work all over the place so have to squeeze them in where I can.
5am runs are now a happy place.
And the great thing is.....everyone in front of you has been where you are.
Nobody gets to join this awesome program at week 5 or 8.
We all start at the same place.
And that is why we can all sympathise and empathise with those coming through as we were all there.
W3R1 is only he beginning.....youβre going to LOVE whatβs coming!
Slow and steady.
Slow down.
Then slow it down a bit.
Enjoy the journey.
Yep... the gang is all here Enjoy and as misswobble says... slow and steady
On week 5, run 2 will be at 7 am tomorrow morning. I look forward to the runs, but have repeated the last one of week 4 and so glad I did. Run 1 wasnβt too bad at all on Monday but they start to increase run by run now instead of week by week. The slow, slow and then slow it down is really good advice. It builds your stamina so Iβve found. Keep going and most of all enjoy it π
I never knew 5 o'clock happened twice a day until I discovered C25K! The programme is so good you'll hardly notice the time and distance by the time you graduate, good luck & enjoy!
