When I saw the weather this morning I thought there's no way I'd be able to get out and do W9R1 today. It was blowing a gale and raining persistently ! But it has since brightened considerably and I've just got back, and I did it - ran for the 30 mins plus about the 90 secs more it took to reach my front door. Can't say it was the easiest of runs but still feeling very pleased with myself x

  • Well done! Nearly there, I thought I was going to get rained on too! You've nearly got your graduate badge!

  • Thanks. Bit worried about how I'm going to get the rest of this weeks runs in - as the forecast is looking pretty dire.

  • Well done, i had to run in the rain this morning, it wasnt pleasant but when i got home i was actually far wetter than i felt when running, so i think the effort and determintion it took to get round blocked out (well sort of) the weather.

  • you were much braver than me. I opted for the comfort of the treadmill.

    well done :)

  • Thanks - I run outside all the time. I don't like treadmills and I don't belong to a gym.
