Hi I've just had a terrible last run of week 7 . My treadmill broke on run 2 so didn't run for 4 days and with eating too much , a little alcohol and a much bigger new treadmill I struggled. Had a very slow run at the speed I was walking before , feel put off now 🙄

Welcome to the club! Honestly, this is a totally normal part of running. Some runs are amazing. Most are just fine. Some are a total pile of rubbish. Getting through a run like that is such good mental training. It wasn’t fun but you did it anyway and your legs have half an hour more fitness in them. That’s something to be really proud of. Hopefully your next run will be more fun!

Well done for doing it anyway... I've done the same and actually couldn't even make it to the end of one of my runs (started too fast, I think). On the repeat I slowed a little and got there. Nothing wrong with slow! It still gets you there.

That's the spirit. What I get from the c25k program, conviction, perseverance and stubborn bloody mindedness are what get me out running. I'm keeping at it getting more runs ticked off.

What's important is that you did it and you can now look forward to Week 8 and lots of support here...

🍏🤗🤗🤗🤗 These set backs are so disappointing and discouraging but you are SO close now!!! You definitely can do this and have a graduation badge early in the New Year. There’s a lovely new plan happening for new graduates that will give you all the encouragement you need. Have a little look and see…. That will spur you on. Nanalinda you can do it!!! Xx
