week 1 run 2

Thank you everyone for being so encouraging after my first run. I feel like C25K and I are old friends, I have started it so many times.

Today run 2 AND instead turning down the slope I went up the slope ( OK it was a very small incline!). It was so glorious out there and I passed other runners doing the loop. I said C25k start as I was on second walk and the next time they passed me going in the opposite direction they called out" keeping going, doing great", I was running at this time. I was always worried about what people would think of a very slow old person but it is better than sitting. Long may this weather last.

I have a slope of Hope - I hope one day I can run uphill for 500 metres - it’s the hope that acts as a spur! Well done you got taking the hard choice not the easy one

I have signed up for Windsor women 10k in Sept. It has this huge hill after about 1 k in. I have never got up it running but I live in hope

That’s why I call mine Slope of Hope - because I do think it’s doable just not yet… I’m sure you’ll be in good fitness for Sept

Old friend and familiar too.....we 'slow, old persons' are strong enough to let others see exactly what we are capable of.

Well done to you!

The speed is not important when I now look at everyone I work with and know I can run further than any of them! Keep up the good work and yes may this weather live long.

Hi. Well done you.

Do not be concerned by what people might think about a very slow old person running, but think about being the inspiration to others , because you will be.

never worry about what others think. Once you are over 40 you are pretty much invisible anyway. Good luck and enjoy the ride
