Week 7 done and dusted πͺπ¦ and back to my usual running route for the past two runs (a little grey today and windy, but picture included). The runs have been going well and although I was overtaken and left for dust today by another runner (ego very bruised) I felt brave enough to push the pace a little. Back to running just over 7km/m - well off my old pace but it will come. I can feel my fitness coming back, which is the most important thing, and I'm looking forward to venturing out and attacking the 28 minutes runs next week.
Good running everyone.

Smashing it out there! πͺπΌπ¦ Well done SD! Looking forward to hearing how you find the longer runs in week 8, keep us posted (love the photo too)!
Lovely photo SD, congratulations on completing the 3/25 minute runs of week 7, don't worry about those fast runners who overtake you, they probably graduated from C25K or a similar running course years ago and can frequently run sub 25min 5Ks , onwards and upwards to week 8β π
I was shuffling along as usual on Sunday and was overtaken by a real runner, flew past me and to make matters worse he lapped me and this was a 3 mile circuit. had to laugh.
