Last run of week 8 today, & by far my favourite run of the whole of c25k so far!
I took my little people out with me, and we all ran the whole thing, laughing, chatting, having fun! ... the laughter was mainly at me not being able to keep up with them π€£π€£
But by the end we were all running together as a team, at the same pace π
In the past weβve often entered βfunβ runs together & Iβve always felt so bad asking them to walk & run π They are both super speedy & love running... They take after their Dad!
However I think I surprised them today, & now I love running too ππ
I didnβt want to take them on my usual route, because of the busy traffic... So we ventured off road in to gorgeous open fields! πΎ
I almost held off this run so I could fly solo tomorrow, Sooooo glad I went today! π
Running through the fields was ace! Bit lumpy & bumpy underfoot, but great! Also having the kids with me gave me a huge distraction of it being different to my usual routeππ
Nice shoe porn! Lovely family run! Enjoy your last week, I am just behind you!
Your little people have quite normal shoe sizes. What are they? 3? 4? If smaller, what shoe makes are they using? Some greedy tiny feet would love some info.
Hey thanks IgaT, We are soooo close to finishing π
My trainers are size 4 & the kids both have size 2, they have Adidas cloud foam... Mine are Adidas too but I have no idea what type as Iβve had them ages! Keep promising myself some new ones when I graduate π
I have about size 2. Adidas cloud foam you say... Are they good running shoes? Trails or city? Well... Anyway, I will check them out when I come across them. Thank you
Different question, I lost the post about all those emojis, and pictograms. How do you post them?
Good thing about having size 2 feet is being able to buy from the kids section ππ
I think the cloud foam are mainly for road & track running π
They do have some other trainers... Karrimor dumaβs, they use those for xcountry & beach running, they arenβt as nice to photograph tho as theyβre filthy π€£π
Eek, not sure if Iβm the best person to ask about emojis, I always post in this forum from my phone. So I use the app & just type the same as I would when texting.
I have a little π face in the left hand corner, I press that & it brings up emojis & gifs π
True, the kids shoes are cheaper, but usually less choice and not design to last long, as kids are growing fast and needs new shoes anyway
I will check those shoes when I will be in the shop. I have quite wide feet with high arch with history of tendinitis, so I have to choose shoes carefully. I had similar problem with hiking boots and shoes, as much that I was suggested to by special boots made for my feet only. I would love that apart from the fact that they cost around Β£1300-1500 O_O
It might be worth going for a gait analysis to find the right fit of trainers for you... itβs best to choose wisely & be careful if you have history of tendinitis!
