After my shin worries last week it felt fine on Monday, so I moved on to Week 8. My brother was visiting, so I did the run with him and very much enjoyed that one. Slight shin ache at the end but much better than the end, so hopefully there's no long-term issue there.
Then on to Run 2. That one was tough, I felt I'd had enough after five minutes. I kept going but really didn't enjoy it even though I got to the end. Feels like I might be coming down with a cold, which could explain that (had a bit of a sore throat and minor headache all day). Fingers crossed it's just a bad day, I occasionally feel like that for a day or two but nothing comes of it.

Some days it just doesn't come together, especially if you aren't feeling 100%. Leave it a few days, have a rest and some good sleep and next time you'll probably feel much happier.
Well done on having the perseverance to continue running when you don't feel like it, hope the next one is better
Well done for keeping at it. I started to struggle after week 5 (with going back to intervals, and then doing the longer runs) but somehow I got through!
Run 3 would've normally been Friday but I was completely bunged up, cold full on then. It had mostly gone today so I went out for it. Clearly it hadn't gone as much as I thought (trying to breathe through my nose when running wasn't happening at all), but with a bit slower pace than usual I still managed to get through 28 minutes, although I was definitely puffing by the end, which is unusual for me (it's normally my legs that tire).
I think the extra couple of days off over the usual has really helped my legs in fact. Although they'd always felt fine before starting up until now I'm beginning to think they hadn't completely recovered from the previous run, but this time it was different, no minor aches.
So if I go out again on Tuesday for the start of Week 9 that'll put Saturday as the last one - so still on course to finish Couch to 5k with a first Parkrun.
