I've spent a few days on the injury coach with back pain. Then had a practice W8R1. Then had a proper W8R1, actually running for 31 minutes - not good, I know, but I was in need of a reward after the previous terrible practice run. So, this one has been just wonderful. I was meditating. I was feeling like I could run forever.
W8R2 today - not at all that good. I've had to walk for about a minute in the middle. Still, I'll count it as completed.
Next run is the final one in my app.

I'm not sure actually. Almost everything is more or less alright. I'm not that much out of breath and my legs cope. But I'm a bit nauseated, especially at the end of an exhale.
Do you count the breaths ? I try count in 4 to bit normally 3. Sometimes I try for the extra 4th breath hold before exhaling so it gets the oxygen in for longer to use. Are you going slowly?
Well, I try and go as slowly as I can, but it's still 8 min/km. No way it's a conversational pace for me. I'm sure one can run more slowly, I just don't know how.
I guess I need to track my pace I feel.like I go really slow just start with a shuffle till I get passed 5mins then I really try breathe in once left foot goes down breathe in 4, 3 seems natural in but the extra 1 beat seems to help to get better timing and rhyrhm. I think breathing is the hardest thing to get right but you are really doing it remember the toxic 10 and just try get passed that once passed that it gets easier of you don't stop. Good luck
There are lots of hints about breathing in the C25K podcasts and app. Having said that I could never quite fit in with Laura’s breathing technique so worked out my own timing. 😉
