I completed run 2 on my treadmill then took run 3 outside. The route was a different one and I started out not 'feeling it' but after only 7 minutes my breathing was controlled and my legs felt strong. There were a few inclines and even a number of steps to tackle but I just shortened my stride then slowed it down to get my breath back. By the end I felt like I could run for miles so naughtily carried on to 5k. Mainly as the last km is downhill and I felt I deserved a downhill run after all the uphill! Thanks again to my hubby for running with me......week 9 here I come!
