Almost exactly a year ago I completed Couch to 5k. I dipped into 10k but couldn't find the motivation to go further really. Then around Easter time I somehow pulled my achilles and had to stop for a long while before any niggly pain went. Pleased to say I have now just finished Week 7 for the second time round. Looking forward to finishing Couch to 5k again but need something very like Couch to 5k to listen to to push me on further this time? I also prefer the very dark, cold, rainy mornings. Running incommunicado listening to Gary Davies podcasts!

Glad you are back running, there are c25k + podcasts that may motivate you to continue this time, we just use music, nothing to fast paced but something we enjoy and know well
Thank you. How would I get these post 5k podcasts? Does somebody talk..."Well done on plodding your way to 6k" etc?
I’m not sure but i saw a link yesterday if i find it again i will post it here, something about cadence and i think with music with different beats to run different speeds, we consolidated through September and are doing one longer slower run one shorter faster run and one with intervals that’s the theory anyway and our choice of music keeps us going
