Long time no post! I actually completed Couch to 5k back in 2020, where I went from getting out of breath just running for the bus/train to running for 30 minutes without stopping at all, I kept the running up for a while after that but eventually life got in the way, I moved to London and I stopped making the time to run...
However, I'm 30 early next year and so I recently decided I wanted to get back into running and get fit again, with the more ambitious aim of hopefully reaching 10k eventually this time around. But I am well and truly starting back at square one! I have just completed Run 3 of Week 1 of C25k today. It certainly isn't easy running after so long but having done this process before I know I'm capable which is keeping me motivated.
Probably won't post after every run this time around but will pop a post up every now and then. Looking forward to seeing other people's journeys along the way too!

Welcome back Laura! Similar story to myself, I've been back for a little while now and have found it challenging but really enjoying it. Getting back out there and starting again is a tough step, well done and I hope your back up to speed soon 👍🏻
hi LauraRuns …I think a few of us keep returning to c25k…some after a break, some just to get back on track…well done for picking up again…just remember, we’re all here cheering you on
like you I’ve returned after a long break Just knowing the C25k is there helped me to get back on the wagon. Think I enjoyed it more the second time round, perhaps because I knew I could do it? Who knows? Well done on picking it back up 😀
Well done Laura! I just restarted too, just a few runs ahead of you. It is challenging but I remember why I enjoyed it again now - getting out there for the first run is certainly the hardest step to take. Looking forward to following your journey again.
It's so nice that there are a few of our old graduation pack back on here. Let’s hope we can get to graduation once again. 🤞
Thanks StoneDragon! It’s brilliant to see some familiar names pop up - great to hear from you and pleased you’re also back on the C25K journey. Will be manifesting us all graduating again!!🏃♀️🤞🏼🕯️
