About 5 months ago, I'd got myself back up to running for 25 minutes and I ended up back in hospital. My skin ripped where I'd had radiotherapy and I had to have my implant removed. Another implant was put in but I didn't heal and I lost that. All of this prevented me from running. Last week, I started again. Back to week 3:but I did it and it felt great. I'm so happy to be back, pounding the streets at 6 is the morning. ๐Ÿ˜€

You have such a great attitude! I'm sure that sticking to your goal of running whenever you can will be helping your mind and body deal with your health issues. You are supporting your body as it heals and it will reward you by getting strong. I had breast cancer earlier this year too, but not as drastically as you did. Running through my radiotherapy was very helpful. Now I'm on hormone therapy and sometimes feel very tired but I still drag myself out for a run twice a week. Occasionally I can only manage about 20 mins but even that makes me feel better. You are doing such a brilliant job. Go easy, and enjoy your runs. โค๏ธ
