Well what a year it’s been so far - the running gods have been against me it seems! First the dark mornings restricted my running to the weekend. Then I had a fairly major chest infection followed by an ear infection. Pretty much started from scratch after four months out. Eight weeks in I tear a calf muscle in quite some style apparently, (10 weeks to heal 🙄) and for good measure another ear infection! So I’ve started c25k again again again! It’s great to be back to it - if hard. This time last year I was banging in 10K before breakfast- it’s scary how unfit I got so quickly particularly as I was still doing some walking and what I could at the gym. It’s great to be back out there though -however hard I’m finding it! I’m half way through - my favourite week 5. The calf is holding up fairly well a few twinges now and the and lovely support socks doing their thing. Seems I’m determined and will fight these demons! 👿 Happy running all!! 🏎🏁😃

You've not exactly had a straight forward year have you. So well done you for getting back to running. Just go slow and take care of your leg . Good luck 😊

Nice that you are back running FormulaRun, I remember that name from last year when I was doing C25K, just hope it goes better for you this time.

Ha, you said to me "I hope your tummy is going well" I think you meant running, yes indeed my running is going very well thank you, I have ran two parkruns, so far my PB 5K is 32.23, best parkrun time is 34.16. so all in all I am quite happy about that, I just hope that you won't get ill again.
